Obama Watch City Due to Hurricane Destruction

"This is not your tragedy, but also a national tragedy"
Shortly after returning from a tour of European countries, Barack Obama flew into townJoplin, the state of Missouri. There, the president of the United States have directly witnessed the destruction of the city of Joplin after the hurricane hit, Sunday, May 29, 2011 local time.

"I promise you that this country will always be with you all every time," Obama said,quoted by the Associated Press. "You have demonstrated a simple truth, that in the midst of this tragedy we are all brothers. There are no strangers here," Obama said,encouraging residents Joplin who hit upon the destruction of their homes by hurricanes.
